Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Applies to all visitors globally
This document informs Users about the technologies that help this Website achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Owner to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on a User's device as they interact with this Website.
For simplicity, this policy refers to cookies and browser storage together as "Trackers" where appropriate. This Website uses browser storage managed by Clockwrk and may receive security cookies from Cloudflare. Unless otherwise specified, third-party providers may access the Trackers managed by them. The validity and expiration periods of Cookies and other Trackers may vary depending on the lifetime set by the Owner or the relevant provider. Users may find more precise and updated information in the linked privacy policies of the respective third-party providers or by contacting the Owner.
The browser storage in use today is strictly necessary or functional. Dismissing the banner is remembered so it is not shown again; it does not change which storage is set.

1. What Are Cookies & Trackers?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Local storage remembers information across visits, while session storage keeps information until you close the tab. This policy covers these technologies on clockwrk.io and my.clockwrk.io.
First-party storage is set by Clockwrk. Cloudflare may set security cookies when it needs to check for bots. Google Fonts receives your IP address when your browser loads the Orbitron font, but does not set browser storage listed here.
2. Why We Use Browser Storage
Clockwrk uses browser storage to keep the Website and portal working, protect against abuse, remember a referral code and that you dismissed the cookie notice, carry checkout details between pages, and remember your portal theme.
No analytics or advertising cookies are used on clockwrk.io. Clockwrk does not place advertising pixels or tags there. If that changes, we will update this policy and the banner first and ask for consent where required.

4. Strictly Necessary Storage
Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.)
Cloudflare may set security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance when it needs to check for bots. Cloudflare also processes IP addresses and request metadata for security and routing. See its Privacy Policy.
Checkout and Portal Sign-in
Clockwrk uses session storage to carry the chosen plan and contact details from pricing to checkout. The client portal uses strictly necessary sign-in storage to keep users signed in.
5. Functional Storage
The cw_ref cookie remembers a referral code so the referrer can be credited. cw_cookie_consent remembers that the cookie notice was dismissed. The portal's portal_theme preference remembers the chosen appearance.
Google Fonts (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited)
Google Fonts serves the Orbitron typeface. Google receives the visitor's IP address when the font loads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Full Storage Reference Table
The table lists the browser storage in use on clockwrk.io and my.clockwrk.io. Cloudflare security cookies are set only when needed; their duration is controlled by Cloudflare.
| Cookie / Storage | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cw_ref (cookie) | Clockwrk | Functional | Remember referral code so the referrer is credited | 30 days |
| cw_cookie_consent (localStorage; fallback cookie) | Clockwrk | Functional | Remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice | Until cleared in localStorage; fallback cookie: 1 year |
| cw_checkout_name, cw_checkout_email, cw_checkout_company, cw_checkout_plan, cw_checkout_scroll_y (sessionStorage) | Clockwrk | Strictly necessary | Carry chosen plan, contact details, and checkout position from pricing to checkout | Until the tab closes |
| __cf_bm or cf_clearance (cookies, when needed) | Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Bot checks and security challenges | As set by Cloudflare |
| portal_theme (localStorage, my.clockwrk.io) | Clockwrk | Functional | Remember portal theme preference | Until cleared |
| Strictly necessary sign-in storage (my.clockwrk.io) | Clockwrk | Strictly necessary | Keep the portal user signed in | As needed for sign-in |
| Google Fonts request (no browser storage) | Google Fonts | Functional | Serve Orbitron font; Google receives IP address | At font load |
7. Cookie Notice
The banner is a notice with a single “Got it” button. The choice is stored as cw_cookie_consent in localStorage, or as a one-year cookie if localStorage is unavailable. Today all browser storage listed here is strictly necessary or functional, so the choice does not change what is set. If we add storage that requires consent, we will update the policy and banner first and ask for consent where required.
8. Managing Your Preferences
You can clear or block cookies, local storage, and session storage in your browser settings. Clearing cw_cookie_consent shows the cookie notice again. Blocking storage may affect checkout, referral attribution, security checks, or portal sign-in.
9. Consequences of Blocking Storage
Blocking cw_ref may prevent referral credit. Blocking checkout session storage may prevent plan and contact details carrying to checkout. Blocking Cloudflare security cookies or portal sign-in storage may prevent access to the Website or portal.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our services or storage change. We will update the “Last updated” date. Before using analytics or advertising storage on clockwrk.io, we will update this policy and the banner and ask for consent where required.
